Thank you from Buba, pupils, staff and parents

After a brilliant and successful academic year 2009-2010 the staff and pupils of Kobisala nursery school came into this academic year with our heads high in the sky hoping for the best with successful prosperity.
As at now we have 102 pupils and more plan to come next term, thus we soon might reach our taget 125 pupils.
Now (mid. Dec. 2010) we have started our vacation 1 week ahead, to have time to repair the damaged roof of 2 classrooms and the office. This is financed by excellent brilliant and magnificent gesture which came as a surprise from Rosalie and her lowly caring and beautiful friends.
Our sincere and profound gratitude to them.
This will go a long way in the history of the school. We are proud of you all !
We staff, pupils and parents of the school want to thank each of you who have contributed to achievements and success of the school and whish you all a happy Christmas with good health and success for the new year!

Welocome to our new blog in english!
(we strated in Swedish http://barnenisanyang.blogspot.com )

Buba Bojang is the headmaster and the school is built on his land where he also lives.
It started with help from friends in Belgium a few years ago. Buba is really struggeling to keep the school going to be able to offer the children in his area a good start in life in spite of the widespred and deep powerty.
We, some friends in Sweden, have now started a supportclub trying to collect some money and support him with what we can. But the club dont care about any borders. You are welcome as a member no matter what contry you live in.)
We call the club "The children of Sanyang".
To be a full member you pay 10 Euro every month to the club´s bank acount.
We arrange our annual meetings in a conference on internet where all menmbers get axcess as soon as they pay the first 10 Euro. We also arrange studycircles with ABF (Workers educational and cultural association in Sweden) and studytrips to the Gambia and visits to the school.
Buba also welcomes volonters. Belgian volonters have done a very good job before.
