The Girls´ toilett house is comming up!

Cerimony to celebrate the opening of the new toialetts

On february the 26, we had a very nice ceremony at Kobisala.
with pupils, teachers, some parents, some donors and  a local drumming  group.
I have some problems to upload the pictures.  Thus they will be published later, as soon as I manage.
I left the Gambia on the 27 th of February and just before I should leave I got a  tel. call from Buba the head mast  telling that their baby child just had arrived to the world at Sanyang hospital. Both  Fatou, the mum and the child was doing fine. We say a big Congratulatins!

He had been out buying cement , because before  next year start in september, 2 new class rooms shall be ready.  And he was especially happy that the doner org. Lena Hallberg took this picture when she visited  Kobisala nursery school last year, when the mothers  were learning  reading and writing in Mandinka. Now she has showed her pictures and talked about her Africa in the library in Mjölby, her home town in Sweden. The money she got for this , she has given to the nursery school. Thank you Lena!
